Facilities

The Home has a landscaped garden with seating facilities incorporating a spacious day room, which overlooks a patio area, and garden, next to this is the “working station” for staff. There are two television lounges, a quiet seating area, a new sun lounge and all of our bedrooms and communal areas are equipped with an emergency call system.

Outside services

A hairdresser, chiropodist and optician make regular visits. To the home and a local dentist also attends by appointment. We are well supported by doctors based 1.5 miles away in Earls Colne; their surgery also has its own dispensary and District Nurses call as and when required.

Newspapers and magazines are delivered by arrangement and the Essex County Council Mobile Library Service calls on a regular basis. All residents have access to religious facilities and currently, ministers visit the home from the Anglican and Catholic faiths.
