Client Profile
- - Anyone over the age of 65, male or female.
- - Person centred dementia care provided.
- - We recommend an informal visit by the prospective resident and their family or friends. Trial visits can also be arranged.
Accommodation
We have accommodation for 35 residents, with 21 single bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 8 single bedrooms without en-suite facilities and 3 double bedrooms, 2 of which have an en-suite facility. All rooms and communal areas are equipped with an emergency call bell system.
We also have a newly built 7 bedroom specialist dementia care unit.
The home also has 4 lounges and a dining room, with attractive views of the garden area. 3 bathrooms are specially equipped to allow for assisted bathing.
All accommodation exceeds the National Minimum Standards that came info force on the 1st April 2000, and comply with Fire Safety Regulations. We are inspected annually by a Fire Safety Officer, Environmental Health Officer and have annual electrical safety inspections. The home is also regulated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection who inspect the home at least twice a year and produce an inspection report which is freely available on request.
