Facilities

Located conveniently close to all local amenities, the Home has a landscaped garden with seating facilities. There are also 2 television lounges, a quiet seating area and a new sun lounge.

All bedrooms and communal areas are equipped with an emergency call system. 3 bathrooms are specially equipped to allow for assisted bathing.

Outside Services

Regular visits by hairdresser/chiropodist/occupational therapist/optician. A local dentist also attends by appointment. We are well supported by local doctors and District Nurses and enjoy Regular visits by Essex County Council Mobile Library Service to supplement our own library.

Our residents enjoy many recreational events, outings and visits to local shops and the town centre plus weekly visits by a musician, together with other weekly entertainment.

The Home holds a Christmas party and summer barbecues, Halloween parties and celebrations at Easter have also become a regular event.

Access to religious facilities and inter-denominational religious visits are also arranged.

Catering

We have a purpose built kitchen with up-to-date equipment ensuring the food and drink provided is of a high quality and prepared in a clean and hygienic area. Our carefully prepared traditional menus offer a combination of nutritional value and excellence. Individual tastes and preferences are catered for, as well as any special dietary requirements.
