Anyone over the age of 65 male or female who suffers from Dementia, including married couples or partners, who have reached a stage in their lives where they prefer to live in a home where all the support required for daily living is provided. Weald Hall Residential Home provides services in the following categories:

• - Care Home providing personal care.
• - Dementia – over 65 years of age (DE) (E), 39

Accommodation

Weald Hall has facilities to provide a home for 39 Residents; this incorporates 37 single rooms and 1 Double bedroom. All rooms are fully furnished and tastefully decorated, together with television, telephone and nurse call facilities. Each room has an en-suite facility. However, our Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own furniture and belongings. All of our Bedrooms are tastefully furnished and include an en-suite facility, telephone point, television point, and a nurse call system.

Our Home is run by efficient, dedicated and experienced staff. Twenty-four hour care and services are provided by approximately 42 staff, many of whom have service of 5 or more years. All staff within our Home are trained to our high standard in caring for the elderly. We encourage all staff to be part of the residents’ care planning, assessing and communicating closely with the residents, their families and advocates. We have a number of staff achieving NVQ level 2, 3 and 4 in Care.

We believe strongly that the quality of care provided depends upon positive, involved management and a dedicated, capable staff. To this end, Weald Hall Residential Home is committed to training and all staff attend a wide variety of courses.
