Facilities

Located conveniently close to all local amenities, the Home has a landscaped garden with seating facilities. There are also 2 television lounges, a quiet seating area and a new sun lounge.

Catering

The Home has a purpose built kitchen with up-to-date equipment ensuring the food and drink provided at Weald Hall is of a high quality and prepared in a clean and hygienic area. The dining room has been tastefully decorated and is fairly large, ensuring that all Residents can enjoy their meal times in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The carefully prepared traditional menus offer a combination of nutritional value and excellence. We also cater for individual tastes and preferences, and for those Residents who may have any special dietary requirements.

Other Services

There are numerous services offered by Weald Hall including regular visits by a hairdresser, chiropodist, occupational therapist and optician. A local dentist also attends by appointment. The Home is well supported by doctors based not very far away, who come on a regular basis. District Nurses call as and when required.

Newspapers and magazines are delivered by arrangement with the manager.

Residents have access to religious facilities and inter-denominational religious visits are also arranged.

There are regular visits by a musician, together with other weekly entertainment. Recreation events, outings and visits to local shops and the town centre are also organised. The Home has a general telephone and 3 lounges; arrangements are made for residents who wish to have telephones and TV’s in their own rooms, all costs funded by the resident, see terms & conditions.
