Welcome to Weald Hall

Weald Hall is part of JK Healthcare, an associate company of Sohal Healthcare Ltd. The Home is a large country house, situated in a rural location on the outskirts of the small village of Thornwood Common, near Epping in Essex. It is surrounded by farmland with views across fields and to the village beyond. We are within easy access of the M25 and M11 motorways. We can be reached by 30 minute ride from central London via the central line tube to Epping station then short taxi ride.

The house is a converted building which served as an RAF HQ during the Second World War. The airfield is still in use for light aircraft.

Weald Hall Residential Home is a registered care home that aims to provide a high standard of care to our residents whilst encouraging them to live as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their needs.

The home has 3 lounges and a dining room; some have attractive views of the garden area. The grounds within which Weald Hall Residential Home is located can be easily accessed and residents are able to make use of this beautiful area. The garden areas include an enclosed area for special needs clients.

Seating areas and patio are present to assist clients with poor mobility, enabling all residents to enjoy the benefits of outdoor exercise. The garden has lots of wildlife in the area which helps to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for residents and family members.
